2008 Financepoint Series - Finals
Friday’s finals night proved a one sided affair between the Higgins Contractors and Watties teams, with the boys from Watties stepping up and wiping the floor 4-0 to take the top honours in the 2008 Finance Point Series. Congratulations to the Team on a great result. Doyle & Associates secured 3rd with a good 3-1 victory over Inspire Net, with Automotive Direct beating Sportsedge for 5th.
“Player of the Night” went to Ant Rountree who beat the higher graded Mark Pettigrew 3-0 to get the Watties team off to the start they needed. Also worth a mention is the 5th set win in the doubles from Grant Smith and Matt Doyle to help secure 3rd place for Doyle & Associates. A big thank you to the Major Sponsor Finance Point, also the Associate Sponsors for their support too. Finally to the Players a big thanks for being part of this great event.
